I created the Owner Builder Class to give people a clear, practical way to navigate that process with confidence.
I’ve spent over 30 years in residential construction, managing builds from raw land to final inspection. I’ve coordinated trades, reviewed bids, solved job‑site problems, and kept projects moving when unexpected issues popped up — because they always do. Along the way, I saw the same pattern repeat itself: smart, capable people wanted to manage their own build, but they didn’t have a roadmap. They were left piecing together advice from YouTube, forums, and well‑meaning friends, hoping they weren’t missing something important.
I knew there had to be a better way.
So, I started teaching owner‑builders the same systems, checklists, and processes I used in the field. Not theory. Not fluff. Just the real steps that keep a project organized, on schedule, and moving forward.
My approach is simple:
Give people the information professionals use. I don’t believe construction knowledge should be reserved for insiders. And I don’t believe you need decades of experience to manage your own build. You just need the right structure, the right tools, and someone who can explain the process in a way that actually makes sense.
